Rearranging Your Structure
Drag and drop in the sidebar
Section titled “Drag and drop in the sidebar”Grab any item and drag it. You can reorder within the same folder, or move something into a different folder entirely.
Drag and drop on the canvas
Section titled “Drag and drop on the canvas”Drag node cards around. Visual indicators help you see where things will land:
- An insertion line (horizontal line with dots at each end) shows where a node will be inserted between siblings.
- A folder highlight (border around a folder card) means the node will be added as a child of that folder.
Drop to confirm. Changes show up instantly in both views. Every move is undoable with ⌘Z.
You can also select multiple nodes first (Shift-click or marquee select) and drag them as a group.
Hierarchical Numbering
Section titled “Hierarchical Numbering”Every node on the canvas shows an automatic position badge — “1”, “1.2”, “2.3.1”, and so on. These update live as you rearrange, so you can always see at a glance where things sit in your structure.
