Exporting Your Manuscript

When you’re ready to share or submit your work, Herbert can export your complete manuscript in three formats. Go to File → Export and pick one:

Format	What you get
Markdown (.md)	All scenes concatenated as plain Markdown. Good for pasting into other tools or version control.
PDF (.pdf)	Typeset with Georgia serif, a title page with author metadata, and proper page breaks between sections.
Word (.docx)	Preserves heading styles, bold, italic, and highlights. Ready for editors, agents, or collaborators who expect a .docx.
